Frequently Asked Questions
How much do you charge? Prices are based on factors such as square footage, age of the building, number of baths, crawl space, etc. Please call for a price quote and if you are price shopping, you can beat my prices but not my service. Buyer beware of a cheap inspection, it could cost you more in the long run.
Should I have a new home inspected? New home inspections are encouraged for the simple reason that builders use subcontractors and every detail is not always checked out. Mistakes happen and can be overlooked, leaky plumbing, nail holes from roofing toe boards, missed connections with HVAC ducts, etc.
Do the utilities need to be on? Yes, water, gas and electricity need to be on so all system components in the building can be checked. All valves should be on, pilots lit and water tank filled.
How do I receive my report? Your report will be emailed within 24 hours of your inspection allowing you to review at your convience. Your report can also be forwarded to your agent if you want.
